I do not have good photos. What do I do? |
I can take photographs in the Boise area:
I am able to digitally photograph the subject, for local commissions. You choose the photo you want used for the portrait. I will print the one you like and draw from it. For photography sessions at my studio, the fee is $25 for each sitting and $5 for each print. The photography fee is $50 for sessions on location, plus $5 for each print. There may be additional charge for more than one subject.

Hire a professional photographer:
Have a professional take new photos and purchase the proofs. This usually costs about $35 at Timeless Photo in Boise. Check your phone book for photography studios in your area if you are out of state.

Take new pictures yourself:
It is possible to take your own photographs, however, if you lack experience and good equipment you may save time and money having a professional take them.Photography Tips

Use images from books and magazines:
Some images can be used from magazines, books and brochures. For example, if you want to include a scene from a tropical island where you had your honeymoon, an image from a travel brochure could be used. If you had a pet that has passed on and you do not have good pictures, library books have good photos of pets that could be used.

The fee for adding special images depends on the number and size of the images and level of detail. For accurate price quotes, send visual samples of all the images that you would like to be included into the drawing.
