If after looking at my portrait gallery, you are interested in commissioning a portrait but are unsure what you would like to have drawn, please e-mail or telephone me with any questions. I will discuss with you any unique ideas you have, however they must be in good taste. I do not draw live nudes or from nude photographs (unless you are Brad Pitt), so please do not ask.

Usually after a short discussion I will have several great ideas for you and price quotes on several sizes. It would be helpful if you could e-mail a photo attachment so I can see more what you have in mind. Custom portraits are based on estimate time to complete, so the detail and number of images has to be considered. I may need you to mail photographs, logos, graphics on custom work before I can give a firm price. I may be able to give you an estimated price range.

Comments or Questions : Please draw Jennifer and myself in black and white and add the mountain background. I would like the inscription to be wherever you think it will look best. Our anniversary is July 15, so if you ship the drawing by July 1st, I will have time to custom frame it before our anniversary. Can you tell me what size you recommend and approximate price, and if you can have the drawing completed by this date. Attached are photos of Jennifer, the mountains and myself. Let me know if these will work.
Please send photo attachments if you can. I can tell from the attachments whether the photos will make a good drawing. If you cannot e-mail photos, I will give you an approximate price range. If we agree to proceed with the commission, I will ask you to mail the original photographs or enlarged copies. Your photos will be returned with the drawing.
